Quick and simple, what XI would you pick for the game at Shrewsbury?
It's become the norm to rest some senior players in early League Cup rounds. However, with the team still looking a bit unfit/rusty/disjointed/awful (delete as appropriate) if I were Freedman, I'd be picking whatever team he plans on starting with against Reading - just to give them some time on the pitch together. Or at least the back five who looked like they'd never met before the Burnley game.
Tonight's Team?

Christmas?
If he doesn't pick the team I want tonight then that's it.

Seriously, does it really matter?
------------
In the grand scheme of things, a 1st round League Cup game doesn't matter a lot. The point of the article, though, was whether he should play a strong XI to prepare for Reading or give the kids and those who didn't play on Saturday a game.
I didn't pick a side because I don't know who he'll pick to start against Reading. I just hope he does pick the same back 5 tonight that he plans to pick on Saturday.

WATOAOW - Good point about defence. But it will only apply to the 4 defenders. The only certainty imo is that Lonergan will play tonight but Boggers will be back for Reading!!

I say bring back Owen Coyle he was doing a great job. Given another year he would have managed to get us out of the championship.
I heard League 1 is really competitive.

I'd play Keet Andrews definitely.
In the hope that he goes mental, punches the ref and receives a lengthy ban.
That way, Dooogie CAN'T pick him.
