Another 2 goals to add to the few he's already got this pre season tonight for Dorrans.
By all accounts he's been brilliant In pre season an Chris Lepkowski has named him as the stand out player this pre season, along with Anelka.
After being told in Jan that he could leave if the right offer came in, I thought he actually ended the season quite well. One of the better players in the last few months of the season and he seemed to be getting game time.
I personally thought it was best for everyone if he moved on but maybe we might just see the 09/10 Dorrans next year? We all thought he had it in him to be immense and we all know he has the potential.
What are you opinions on Dorrans at the moment?

JH - I would like to think he is back to his best. There would be no talk of his leaving if so.
Seems hard a long time ago when he was voted championship 2nd best player ahead of the likes of Taarabt,Adam and Carroll.

He's too good to let go. If he's got his head right over his family issues, he will be a good player for us again.

I find it odd that going into our 4th successive season of PL football no-one can definitively say whether Dorrans can step up or not. The reason for that is probably because Dorrans hasn't had more than 3 or 4 games in a row in his favoured position. The perfect time to do this was the second half of last season when Morrison was out of form. I'd go as far to say he is technically better than Morrison. The only way we would really find out was if he played a few games in that position.
I'm slightly biased but I'd definitely keep him. Whatever his personal problems have been Di Matteo, Hodgson and Clarke all rated him sufficiently to keep him part of the squad.

My favourite player at the club.
If he maintains the amount of hunger and effort that he has done at his time at The Albion so far with sufficient game time then he can stay for as long as he likes.

Tbh, I'm surprised that he hasn't been moved on, for his sake and the club's, but I'm glad he hasn't for (probably) sentimental reasons.
All wba fans know what Dorrans can do and I just hope he can showcase that next season for us. Hopefully it's not the case that he still wants out cos I think he can play a big part next season

Think this may be his season Harry.
Certainly hope so.
If it doesn't work out, this will no doubt be his last here.
