Clear evidence that the PR stunt worked, I wonder how many shirts there going to sell off the back of this! Surely this is good long term for the club. Shame more of them don't come to watch us !

Mav - i assume you are talking about the Louis tomlinson signing?
I said from the off that it was a good idea.

Yeah I was referring to Louis hound, it's quite funny looking through some of the followers of drfc on twitter , I think when he plays his game for the reserves in September it will be the same again, it will be big news! Just hope they continue to push the marketing, with a team performing and a higher profile they might even talk about us more on the Football league show!!

I have recently put two threads on the 606 regarding a Director and a consortium and both were removed by administrators obviously as a result of a complaint by an unknown person.
To be a Tiger or not to be that is the question. Another new owner from overseas has named the name of a football club since 1904 as ******. He says that the word "City" is common?????? Are you watching DMBC. He has renamed Hull City as "Hull City Tigers" the badge and all before it are now ashes. Perhaps it is the devil you know

So.
Just for fun.
If something similar was to happen to us what do we think the new name would be.
In the dark Richardson years a pro comedian friend of mine used to say "Doncaster, the home of the Rovers, or Doncaster Rovers Nil ~ togive them their full name."

Well, ' 1D oncaster Rovers Soccer club' would appeal to those extra 50k teens we now have following us !!!

Yes, it has been Doncaster Rovers Nil for a lot of years on and off and this year may be the same name.
