Wayne Rooney has taken a significant step towards the Manchester United exit door after he was ordered to train with reserves by David Moyes on Thursday.
Rooney arrived for training expecting to join up with the rest of the United first-team but at 10am was told that he would be working with the reserve players.

Nani > Sanchez for me.

I would say that as well, Nani is 2 footed and can go either way. Just want some consistency from him

When Nani gets a run, he is consistant but Fergie dropped him for farting to near the dugout
Hopefully Moyes will bring the player out which is for me, one of the best wingers on the planet

Look, Nani is a talented player but he's had one consistent season and even then he started effing up by February of that season.
If Nani stays he will have some good weeks and some bad weeks and we'll just have to learn to live with it.

@sistoney67: Apparently, Rooney asked 2 train with Utd ressys 2day as 1st team were doing light session ahead of Rio F testimonial and he wanted full one
From the PA chief writer, makes sense but not surprise the media have put their own spin on it

Is he too injured to play in the testimonial?

To be fair arab, it could just as easily be the pr officer that is spinning it. Do you really think all of the players reported by their clubs as being currently injured actually are...?

Yes, and lack of games is a problem in the CS
I'd be over the moon if he appeared on the bench on Sunday
Arab
That makes more sense. Thanks for sharing.

On this occassion, I believe Moyes
Firstly, would they seriosuly fly Rooney all the way to the far East to fly him back home blaming a hammy injury? Roo actually tweeted he was gutted to be missing the tour
Secondly, why would Moyes bother playing him behind closed doors and then make up another injury? He could have just 'extended' the hammy injury. Moyes did add he was gutted about the shoulder because he had wanted to get Roo back involved and playing
90% of all this has just been media nonsense and I genuinly feel it's that that is getting Roo annoyed because it's making his position unteneable, along with United's stance of gagging him

Cesc has just said he's staying. So if Rooney does go and we only get Fellaini in......Moyes won't last 12 months. Whether you agree with that or not (I don't), the press will "murder" him for him.
----------------------------------
If Rooney does go, it's time for a few United players to step up because they won't have Rooney coming back to cover their butts
==========
He didn't do much of that last season so I'm pretty sure they will step up. One positive thing though is he won't lose possession as often putting the team under pressure
