Key players for Next year

Putting this Suarez debarcle to one side, looking at who we currently have, who are you excited about seeing step up next season? Who will be the key players? What youngsters will we see, if any, break into the first team squad?

Personally, despite the lack of signings, i am, as always excited about the new season. After a successful pre-season tour against, albeit, weaker oppostion and an average display in the emirates, i think a few players will kick on this season:

Aaron Ramsey-
Definitely made a huge difference being played in the centre of midfield, and his fantastic workrate coupled beautifully with Arteta's calm and composed style to form, rather unexpectedly to most, a very effective partnership. After a good pre-season, and some great form into last seasons close, i think Rambo will have a stellar season and become one of the key figures for the club.

Jack Wilshere-
Intermittent last season, injury niggles, rushed back, all of which led to some lacklustre performances. However, this kid is one of the most talented players we've seen at Arsenal who will be the top CM in the world if his development continues. Future captain of the club. A full pre-season will help him no ends. We'll hopefully see him develop into the attacking mid that Wenger has him lined up for.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain-
Again, good pre-season, looked very comfortable out wide and through the middle. In the latter role he looked dangerous running at pace at defenders, and as we've all seen he has the ability to launch a thunderous long range shot. Passing has improved and as has his dribbling as he's gained confidence. He has to, and i believe will kick on this season, but as to his best position, undecided?

Other honourable mentions go to Big Oli, looked very good on tour. Good return last term during his debut season, should only improve this season. Looked a second or two quicker, and some of his goals have been superbly took.

Santi- Top debut season, will only improve.

Walcott- Has to refind his pre-contract signing form and stick to that consistently.

Of the youngsters, i think Zaleam will get a few outings in the prem, plus should get a good run in the capital one cup. Gnarby will be hanging around the first team squad. Akpom and Sanogo will also see some action in the CC/FA cup and prem at some points.

Your thoughts?

But on a serious note I agree with OP, but I enjoy watching Rosicky play and I know hes cracking on now but hopefully hes got a good season left in him so composed on the ball.

I watch a fair bit of Arsenal to tell you the truth few family members are fans unfortunately :P

Got a feeling that Walcott will hit 20 league goals this season. He'll be one of our most important players, I feel.

Ramsey and Ox I think will have breakout seasons too, as you say. I hope Jack and one of, if not both of the 'keepers have good seasons too. Sagna will regain his best form.

Rosicky has to start if he is fit. Him, Cazorla and Arteta get us playing properly.
