According to sky sports Miller hasn't got a medical today, personal terms still to be agreed. So this must mean Verhoek has agreed terms as he has his medical today. It is understood Miller is expected to sign. One today, two by end of week, things looking rosey. : )

Miller coming. I see WBA are in for Long from reading. Miler would only be falling further down the pecking order. The question is - is he a 20 goal a season man in our division????

IMO thats what you need. Your midfield seems to be one of the best in the division (if not the best), your defence is generally solid but like us, you will be screwed if someone gets injured, but your strikers lack GOALS

i dont think hes scored 20 goals in the last 5 years let alone in 1 season. i dont make much of this news at all. hopefully he can get it together and prove me wrong. im at best doubtful that this is a good move.

Miller will be the one to take us forward, if we get the right delivery into him he will get us a minimum 10-15 goals this season

Has Miller been unlucky with injury or has he been a benchwarmer at WBA for a good reason - can't score enough? I don't know the answer to that. What I would say is that if he can get and stay fit, he has the physical presence we need and surely with the right coaching (JFH) he can be a potent goalscorer. I'm cautiously optimistic he will be a good signing.
As for Wesley Verhoek, I think we might have a bit of a coup on our hands; he is very highly regarded, capable of excellent crosses and is super quick.

My thoughts exactly, intelligence, skill, pace with Miller up front on his own, we have the nucleus there to frighten the lives out of championship defences just like Swansea did, my only concern is his injuries.

Maybe Miller could be more of a target man, playing alongside Garner or McGoldrick might just be what they need to score a few.
Also, with Verhoek and Reid on the wings crossing the ball in, a lot more chances will fall to our front men.

Scored one goal while on loan to QPR last season, joined in Jan i think?
