Didnt know this guy had signed for Fenerbahce over the summer. Thought he was excellent against us last season completely ragdolled the defence (admittedly that isnt the hardest thing to do) looks as if he went for 13m euro.
Now im not suggesting for a minute we could have afforded his wages or attracted him to Celtic but just as an example of a player we all would have been happy with would you want to see the club spend that amount of cash on one player?

Would anyone see Scott Parker as a great signing. There is talk of him going to QPR?

Not for me logie. Big wages for a guy on the wane need to get away from this retirement home for ex epl players.

I just think he would be what we need for the CL. Kayal is not the answer, we are crying out for a strong CM?

kayal $hat out his spine and fake hardman persona when he got clattered in a 50/50

You can be an aggressive player without being a hardman.
Logie we are but doubts over parkers fitness (has he not got dodgy knees?) and the amount he would demand in wages puts me off him.

kayal was a sleekit we bass
loved leaving wee digs in here and there, yet was rolling about like a fairy when he got tackled
remember his 5 roll effort up at pittoddrie 2 year ago
did lennon no have to take him off in the 3-3 game at killie cause he was runnin about kickin everything in sight and was a red card waiting to happen

Dont mind that care to enlighten us ?
They only one saying that kayal thinks hes a wee hardman is you , he goes about trying to break up play ...does that make you think he thinks hes a wee hardman ?

tornado
when he got injured v Rangers when he and mcculloch went in a 50/50
also, him charging about trying to boot everything in sight v killie when you were 3-0 down and lennon took him off at half time to ensure he didnt get sent off

yes he came off worse in that challenge but he showed no fear going into it in what was a proper 50/50 . Turned out he damaged his ankle in that tackle
Do you remember McCullochs reaction after that tackle ? Nothing wrong with him after it ...but whos more a drama queen ?
Like i say he just goes about breaking up play , thats his job , thats the best part of his game ...i dont think he thinks hes this wee hardman for doing so .
I think its just the way you see it

Aye mind that. McCulloch should have been off. Not for the tackle just the horrendous acting afterwards.
He's not a wee hardman doesnt come off that way to me anyway.
