ALEX TO BE GONE TODAY?

According to Sky News, Alex is set to be sold today and at the moment he is at the Emirates Stadium for medical test which if passed will became a Arsenal player today or tomorrow.

Saints will accept Arsenal's offer cos no choice but to let him go - Recently, Adkins said he wanted to keep him but looks like he is losing him for good.

Are you happy or sad to see him leave St Mary's?

Help him by what? Sitting him on bench constantly?

I'm sure it won't be constant, plus with our injuries and the potential losing of Nasri and Cesc

Neither are wingers though are they ? Not sure if Nasri plays out wide for you lot, happy to be corrected if wrong though.

Nasri does but I think he'll move into the centre if Cesc goes. Walcott could become a striker finally. Who knows what Arsene has planned

Walcott was a striker 5 years ago when you signed him

And yeah seems like the obvious option of moving Nasri infield if(when) Cesc goes. About my question...are you lot frustrated that you are once again signing young kids for stupid prices, instead of getting recognised players in ?

I should think Walcott will play through the middle to replace Bendtner, Chamberlain will be the new Theo out wide, and we will sign a defender and replacements for Cesc and Sami

Typical big four attitude. You think you have a divined right to just take whatever players from the lower leagues you want. We didn't need to sell him and unless you paid our valuation for him, which you finally have, you have got Chamberlain. The delay on the transfer was down to Arsenal.
