The way of the Turtle Hermit.

We had a test in defence which ever way you look at it today. When they have the likes of king, best, and rhodes on the frontline, the later (as we saw against derby last week) will score given half a sniff, a clean sheet is fantastic.

It seems wilsons slotted straight in which im glad about as i dont think collins would have been able to keep blackburn out. Cohen and lichaj are still doing great, and darlow has had to do what darlow has had to do.

Lately i've been supportive of geddy, believing that he was a decent enough DCM for the push. As we know he has the tackle and the harass for the central tole, but he really needs to step up on his delivery. As seen today, too many times he gave away the ball cheaply after earning it, and on occasions left blackburn running at our back four. He needs more discipline, even if it results in him always passing backwards, as gillet did, to hold onto possession.

Anyway, great 3 points and to bolton which seems alittle less daunting as before the season. Maybe a win against watford wont look so unrealistic after bolton, and maybe wigan wont look so impossible after a good haul from watford.

Pleased Kwillo did well for you - think you're getting an improved player back

Couldn't agree more. Back four looked good and will only get better. Tough place to go and keep a clean sheet. Glad we've got these next few games while everyone is settling in a bit.

Geddy definitely had an off day. I think if billy has his way, he's after a leadbitter type player as we know. Geds might get rotated a bit more.

Great result. A clean sheet against against one of the best striking partnerships in the league, away from home, is very impressive.

Guedioura is great when on form but needs to learn that he cannot play Hollywood football every time he gets the ball. Gillett was less showy but got the job done.

Geddy is playing in a similar role to that John McGovern had in centre midfield under Clough and Taylor, When things go well you don't notice them.

Gillet got an awful slagging off on here after a couple of poor games I seem to remember.

true bear, he is too lightweight. Geddy has that strength to keep people off his back but its when hes not under pressure that hes making these mistakes, and all too frequent. Its both league games now and teams are gonna click on, like blackburn did second half when they pushed up field.

If he keeps making these kinds of mistakes, neither the fans nor billy is gonna put up with it. Billy todays is apparently at the hearts vs hibernian game, so might be looking at jason holt (20yo DCM we've already bid for).

Who's that then? You're not talking about Best and Rhodes as a 'partnership' are you? If so, by all means list their impressive partnership stats

666 - You mean you weren't at the two-thirds full PP last Sunday to witness Blackburn's strike force and 89th minute equaliser for yourself?

Do you actually go to any games 666 or are you one of the growing number of grey seats at PP?
