So,I posted this article a few weeks back and lack of cooments due to people wanting to find out the transfer activity, now I know that the transfer window isnt over but it is the start of the EPL and I would like to know what
you're thinking. Heres mine
1. Chelsea
2. Utd
3. Arsenal
4. City
5. Liverpool
6. Spurs
Chelsea - To be honest I can't see any other team winning the league, I said last season that their overall squad was the best and as for their attacking players no team comes near the likes of the combination of Oscar, Mata and Hazard. Now that a certain manager has returned and the squad is only going to improve I think it is only inevitable that Mourinho will be lifting another EPL title come May. In terms of domestic and european trophies I see a Champo's semi and a domestic final but just the big one this season
Utd - Were all sitting in anticipation to see how good Utd are without SAF. How will Moyes prove himself at the top level of football. I think however much we want Utd to fail and do a 'Liverpool' they won't. I can't imagine Utd not being there or there abouts so that's why I am putting them second, as it is a tough one to call. Moyes really needs to put his stamp on it and sign 2 massive players of his own accord to go for the title. I can't see a european trophy maybe a final though, to prove that Moyes can hack top level Football. No trophies this season
Arsenal - Obviously being a rival fan of Arsenal people would think I was bias against them but in all honesty I can see them really giving it a good go. Potentially second depending on Utd performances and the reason I think Arsenal will do this is because a) I do think its Wengers last season he's contract runs out in 2014 and now Fergies gone I think he will too, therefore he'll push the team that extra bit further next season start well and prove that they are still a top team. b) they've got money we all know that and it looks like they're buying. I think Suarez would be an incredible addition to the squad and apart from the back they have a great winning team. c) Their form, it was truly great if they can keep that going into this season they also could be there or there abouts I can see a 2nd place showdown between Utd and Arsenal. Wenger will go out on a high with winning a domestic Trophy probably FA cup to end the drought and an average european season again.
City - The reason I've put City 4th is because they have this new manager and its a whole system now at city. For a manager to go in and manage players that earn 10x the annual salary in a week is difficult. I don't think they are going to sign the right players and I think the chairman/directors are doing all the buying; which is never good for a club they need Pell to have he's own mark on the team. A much better European cup run though getting to the QF and a FA cup final lose to arsenal
Liverpool - Rodgers has really put his mark on that team buying the likes of Sturridge and Coutinho (who are looking good) if they lose Suarez it will be a massive blow for them; but they are doing their buying nice and early to get these new player integrated into the squad. From the end of season form I'm going for 5th just missing out on Champions league spot but a point or 2. Good runs in domestic cups aswell Semi/final of Carling
Spurs - Even though I think we'll keep Bale and sign a Striker or 2 to add with Paulinho, I'm saying 6th mainly because I would prefer to be pessimistic that way unless we finish 8th or something I won't be disappointed. The teams above are looking really good this year and its going to be tough to get above them. Also I'm kind of sick of losing out on Champions League football in May its not something that should define a club being good or not. We missed out it by 1 point to Arsenal and other than the fact they have the potential to sign players that want to play in the Champions League and the money it doesn't make that much difference than europa league to us. I think AVB really needs to go for the europa trophy this season we had a good run in it last but lets go all the way. You always look back at what a teams won not whether they managed 4th or not and I would be more than content with a Trophy and 6th place
If you want to add you predicitions and thoughts on why, Please do

Top 6 Predictions 2013-14

It's just obvious Les, it's already been agreed out of the public eye i'd imagine the agreed deal is to wait until after the United/Chelsea game before announcing it public and completing it

I suggest that you read properly what was written and
stop being a pr.ck.
What was said is that positions will be determined by
transfer business being completed by end of transfer
window.
And yes Arsenal are capable of finishing 2nd but only
if they strengthen their squad.
-----------------
Anyone can say that though. If Man Utd buy 3 quality players then they could win the league, if Spurs keep Bale they could finish 3rd as they have bought well this summer. If Liverpool keep Suarez, he gets his head together and we buy a couple more players we could finish 4th. All ifs and maybes.
The whole point of the article is to give a prediction based on what we know, what transfer business has been done, the positions based on where we stand right now. Arsenal have done nothing in the market, they've stood still whilst every team around them, barring Man Utd who are the current champions, have bought players and strengthened their squads. So to suggest that Arsenal can finish 2nd is ludicrous. To suggest that you're going buy these 3 quality players, when all summer you've not stengthened one position in your team is hopeful.
Also mate, be nice, no reason to call me a pr!ck

@ FatJanMolby:
the only thing that's guaranteed is the Top 4 will remain the same
The order in which the Top 4 will finish is the only mystery.
Spurs are the only team capable of gate crashing the Top 4, Liverpool with Suarez finished 7 last season, without Suarez they have no chance of getting Top 4
But thats just my opinion, we'll all find out at the end of the season

City
Chelsea
United
Tottenham
Arsenal
Liverpool
Chelsea need a top striker (you know who). If that happens then I think they will win the league.
Tottenham getting 4th. My reasoning being they only finished 1 point behind Arsenal last year and they've improved greatly whereas Arsenal haven't done squat.
Liverpool closer but not close enough.

City, Chelsea, United and Spurs in that order but until the window closes I wouldn't put money on those placings. Still a lot of business to be done before close of season.

Far too many unknowns even at this stage of the transfer window.
Man Utd , the Moyes factor ,dont look very strong depth wise in the centre of midfield & if Rooney goes another class forward would be needed in case RVP gets injured
Man City, Pelligrini may be another Wenger or may be another Ramos, not sure what he will make of Stoke away !!, New players may not settle, Nastasic out for at least 6 weeks, is Lescott good enough ?.
Chelsea, Jose doesnt have a Makalele this time round, built success on disciplined teamwork, defensive responsibility & hard graft not sure how that will suit David Luiz. Desperatly need a top class forward. And Terry & Lampard to accept they cant play every game.
Arsenal, Seems same old Arsenal talk big on transfers & spending but no world class stars arrive.Need a striker & defensive midfielder, centre half & a full season out of Jack Wilshire as a minmum
Spurs, Bale for £85 million id drive him to Madrid for that sort of money which if invested properly could really strengthen the squad, problem is Levy will probably want a big chunk of it for a new stadium.Have made some decent signings so far though.
Liverpool, going no where but 6th at best, Carragher retired,Can Gerrard keep playing every week ? finished 7th with a great season from Suarez if he leaves they wont be able to attract good enough players to replace him. in truth miles behind the other 5 teams. Will raise their game for the big matches though & will take points off the teams above them.
Everton, Expect Baines & Fellaini to be at Man Utd by Sept, along with loss of Moyes see them competing with Swansea for 7th

This proves how well we did last season - hardly anyone had us even in the battle for fourth.
Yet a lot of those same posters are saying we bottled it!
