Supposed to be £1.75m rap,will get about £7-8m from the sale of those two.

Whoever he gets in will be cheap and happy to accept the sub-standard contracts FSG are so keen on. The 'right kind of quality' wouldn't be interested.

Players like Coutinho and Sturridge have accepted what FSG have to offer. Were they not the "right type of quality" They both look like very good players to me.

Perhaps you would prefer we throw hundreds of thousands a week at the likes of Joe Cole.

We ideally need another signing or two before the villa game but we definitely need to have all our signings done well before the Utd game so they can bed in.

Not 100% convinced on Sturridge yet, but he's definitely made a good start.
As far this summer - well, Norwich and Cardiff have outspent us so far, so I assume we're pretty much skint until we can move Suarez on.

I think Alberto is a similar sort of purchase. From what I've seen from him he looks like a good player. Good technical player, with an eye for a pass. He also has the ability to get goals. Maybe not as skilful as Coutinho.

I also think Aspas has been a pretty good buy. He's had a good pre season. If he can take that into the season then he'll score a few and create a few.

I think both are clever buys. Not too expensive and add some depth to the team.

Ah, so it's lucky no one else was in for him? Funny how you look at it that way, as oppose to the club actually identifying him and moving in quicker than anyone else and having better judgement than anyone else.
