We are at boiling point

This is it, Suarez isn't coming (as expected), Wenger and co have wasted all summer chasing a player we wouldn't get.
Now we will be left with nothing or some 2nd rate players. And don't you dare give me "there's still 2 weeks or so left chill". We are not moving forward and this is down to Wenger not spending the money which is available.

Blame the market, the players being on holiday, teams without managers, but in the end, we all know who's fault it is.

2 weeks Wenger, sort it out, or you will be out.

Gustavo, Dzeko (or someone of his quality), a CB and a RB (maybe a GK too).

I'm not being negative and this isn't knee jerk reaction, I have had enough, we're being lied to year after year. When he's interviewed he says "not yet" with a smile as if it's close.

RANT OVER

The real point of any debate is that Arsenal have considerable financial clout and we can at moment
compete with anyone in transfer market including
clubs like Monaco and PSG.

If you are in such a position you go into the transfer
market at start of window when 'all the players likely
to be sold' are available.

You go at end of market only when you are looking
for bargains or have limited resources available.

Wenger's utter lethargy and indecisiveness has cost
the club once again opportunities.

If we wanted Suarez we should have tested water in
May and not in August. Initially Liverpool's reaction
was that they would not sell for less than £50 million.
Had we offered that amount at start of transfer window
we might have got him, because Liverpool could have
used the money and bought players they wanted.

Similarly Higuain was our original target, but Wenger
changed his mind. This shows poor judgment and
indecisiveness. We should have concluded that deal
it was a far better option. Higuain is not only a prolific
goalscorer but a reliable team player.

The point is now reached where we may have few
options left to buy quality players. This means that
we are more likely than not going to have to fill holes
in our squad either with mediocrity or inexperienced
players.

I'm mystified by the lack of Suarez references in Arsenal fans usernames..... Where have they all gone?

Said in July we would not sign anyone - got shot down in flames by AKB's - how silly to they look now. Just as deluded as the manager in my opinion. WENGER OUT!

I agree on your points, if we wanted Suarez then we should have tried him much earlier than July. We should have gone for Higuian before Napoli sold Cavani and got bagful of cash to splash.

Any big name players should be signed good month or two in advance so that they get chance to gel with the team not on feking last day of transfer. Pathetic this.

NB - L'pool fans should get too happy as they will see the consequences of keeping unhappy player at the club.

Dave
To be fair a lot of people tried to tell them not to go overboard especially on the Suarez thing but you'd just get abuse and 'Suarez will be an Arsenal player on the x day of x whether BR/LFC fans like it or not.'

IMO there were early signs of trouble especially when the Higuain deal fell through and Napoli bought him for around 7m pounds more than you had agreed with Madrid.
