From drawing with Luxembourg to beating Russia its just impossible to work us out.
A thoroughly deserved win.
The whole team were superb but thought Gareth McAuley and Jamie Ward were absolutely outstanding.
Well done and well deserved Michael O'Neill and quite a few of us are quids in with the Bookies.

We are easily the most frustrating bewildering team out there. The performance away to Portugal, tonite a win compared to Azerbaijan and Luxembourg.

Welcome back fellow norn iron fans! For a long time I thought everyone had retired to the great blue yonder!!!! What a fantastic game last night! The players did themselves proud and I'm delighted for the manager. Good to see we can still produce the goods every now and again! Thought Jamie Ward and Patterson were fantastic along with McAuley and Cathcart, but to be honest I was more than pleased with everybody's performance! Some have been saying Russia were poor, but surely a lot of that has to be down to how we played as a team!! If only we could produce the same sort of night against Portugal..
