Just announced on the website.
Theo Robinson from Derby County
I think this is an excellent signing.
Onwards and Upwards

Theo will put in loads of work and has bags of pace but his control lets him down. Good player to have when defending a lead as the defence daren't push up as Theo can outrun all the defenders if the ball is played over the top. Hope he does well for you.

Wow! Sky Sports say that a "host" of Championship clubs have been chasing him and he actually has experience in this league and has scored goals. Well done DRFC; this is the type we need to be signing. Perhaps the Nimely and Macheda were just unfounded rumours, so why were they not denied?

Typical JR, chuck a few names about, then sort out another player we want to sign behind the scenes. Keep em off the sent
He could be a right player with the 3 "wingers" playing through balls for him to Chase
May take a while to get used to having a center forward who's got pace to burn. But it'll be good to see if we can use him as a forward with the ball on the floor, unlike the last forward we had who was fast, Lewis Guy
Less said about that, the better.

Don't expect TOO much from him and he'll be a cult hero for you guys, fantastic work rate and knows where the net is. I wish him the best of luck for the future.
Will score goals for you, good value at £150k.
Will you take Tyson too please?

It is quite interesting to read the comments posted on here about the srikers that we may be looking to sign.
When looking to post "downer" comments and belittle the players in question, goals per game and goals scored (or not) in the past two or three years are always brought up.
Now take the case of Danny Welbeck.
One goal in 26 league games last season for Man Utd.
Would anyone complain if the Rovers were lucky enough to be in a position to sign him?

I do not do the stats thing hound, cos ah can't add up and divide sums (if spelling is wrong it is done by site spell check).
It is obvious and has been for many years that Donny have stated that "Goals come from all over the field" yet now it suits, certain forwards get slated.. We only got two out and out forwards IMO that is Browny and Billy and both are good players but need someone with higher credentials to play along side them, when SOD played with just one up front at home we all complained and more so me, but PD comes and all of a sudden it is brilliant, personally it limits chances, yes Billy Sharp liked it because he was the one who would score, It is fair to say that he is not coming back and on a reported £30k a week it is obvious why he isn't, so just like Heffs and many others let us just get on with it eh. I have stopped caring and I may go tonight or I may not, that depends on my mood more than this rain.

Sorry to burst your bubble fellas, but he's useless!
He's good for the comedy value if the game is boring.
He's quick, and that's about it, all the best

My mood was getting worse so this does it, another night at home for me, bed early and then hopefully sleep

hydrywirrallterrier - how wrong you are in your comments about Robinson.
Could there be a little bit of something personal which makes you so dismissive of him?
