Our Kenny looking forward to the weekend

His sacking deprived me of my anger-management therapy and all content for my posts on here. My suggestion to the club that he was kept on in an ambassadorial role fell on deaf ears.

With Wolves having sold out again of their tickets for the away game this weekend, amusing to read that Morecambe have evidently sold just 4 tickets for their away match at Portsmouth

I bet three are complimentary and the fourth is their driver
DJ, as a long time fan who also goes to a lot if games home and away do you have the same feeling of guilt that i have been getting that this season is actually enjoyable being a big fish in a small pond as we were back in the Turner/Bully days? Happy memories of hopes of wolves fans taking over grounds and towns all around the country every other Saturday.

I totally understand what you're saying, GB. I remember driving to all manner of obscure grounds when we were last in the basement divisions, and took a lot of pleasure from it. It was a great day out with my younger son.
Having said that, I would have preferred to have remained in the Premier League, particularly as the gulf between them and "us" appears to be widening.
The clarion call for Mick's removal was perhaps the catalyst for the plummet, but to be fair to Wolfie & co., it wasn't just morons on the forum that instigated the decline - there were rumblings of dissent from a vocal minority on the terraces too, and this would have swayed a weak and dithering chairman.

Modern football dilemma. I want to be in the prem but there were actually very few weekends I actually enjoyed going to the games when we were there. A braver man (or someone who liked to cause a ruckus on Internet forums) might suggest that top flight football is beget for the arm chair or absent fans and not so good for the regular attenders. ..
I'll get my coat.
