The Moosse is back

Concerned about this season, no change there then, however who cares what I think, what do you think?

I believe, honestly, to survive this season will be good, 17th for me, no positive signings as yet, however we may be surprised but dont bank on it

Hello folks,

I am sure that SC and his coaching staff will continue to give each game a real go, being fairly positive and attack minded. I do think we have over achieved slightly in the past 2 seasons and, yes, survival is the name of the game. That said, we have the players believing in themselves and the likes of Mozza, Dozza, Mulumbu, Yacob, Long, Brunt seem comfortable in this division now. Can we as a team keep enough clean sheets and score enough goals, replacing Odemwingie and Lakaku's contribution will be difficult.

A cup run would be nice!

Looking forward to Saturday.. Boing Boing!

Welcome Bodkin, and welcome back, Firey.
If we can get Scott Sinclair on board, we will be well set in midfield. We are stronger now at CB, we will need to address RB again at the end of this season - how long have we been saying that for - and we also still need a specialist DMF for cover, but at least there's no ACON this season.
It's a pity we couldn't get Lukaku back on loan, he gave us all sorts of options last season, and I do wonder what sort of role he will be given at Chelsea with all the wealth of talent they have, but it won't be as prominent as the one he enjoyed at Albion.
I do feel we have a decent squad, and if we can avoid injuries and suspensions, and silly defeats like the ones at Norwich and Reading, and take more points from 'the teams around us' we should be more than safe again.
A steady season coming up, I hope.

Aries.... Me ode Mucka ! Warm enough for you out there?

WTF is an 'ACON' ? Animal, vegetable or mineral ? Can you cook an ACON and eat it? Is it a make of steak & kidney pudding? Or, might it be part of the International Space Station?

Baggie Man, ACON is the Africa Cup of Nations, of course! Hmm, methinks you've had too much time away from football recently in warmer climes! Speaking of which, it's 48 degrees here during the day, and about 38 degrees at night. We're almost through the two hottest months, July and August, so the weather will cool down towards December. I sometimes have to wear a jumper indoors where I work, the aircon is so efficient!
I miss The Vine!

Great to have you back, real Moose - just in time to tell your detractors that you were right all along

I think 17th will be a good finish for us. Mulumbu is a headless chicken, JP is a tightwad and Hodgson is a yes man!
