Another season starts and we have NO defensive cover, we lost Chicksen and did not replace him. Why do we always sign midfielders.
We need at least one defender and could do with two. We still need a 20 goal forward to give us any chance of having a good season.
Come on Winkie and the rest of you get your fingers out, you will start to lose the supporters if you are not careful.

Not really sure what you are saying, we have Lewington injured and possibly our best defender not starting in Flannagan.
We had two clean sheets before Saturday.

Ron is correct we have no defensive cover. Technically Kay and Williams are midfielders so Flannagan is the ONLY central defender. Lewington is not a first choice fullback as he is overweight and too slow. We should have told Chicksen he would be automatic start if fit.
We also do need a goal scorer. There were good ones available from Scotland at the end of the season who were at the end of their contracts. We could have picked them up. Also is Robbo going to bring in Bowditch when fit as he is also too slow.
We now have some pace in the team so we need to be careful which subs we use and when we use them.

We need a forward with pace, he can get on the end of crosses. No good doing all the hard work and having a donkey to put the ball in the back of the net.
