Feels like a bad Christmas Eve

It's like being all excited about the big day then being told your toys were so good last year you can just play with them again.

Can't help feeling like that about United.

It's not great to go in to a very tough start to the season like this and I just hope it doesn't cost us because it will be a big stick to hit Moyes with if it does.

I do find it hard to believe we're doing exactly what City did last year in resting on our laurels but it is what it is.

To be blunt I want at least one top class central midfielder. Why? Because I know football and I know that would improve us no end.

then you should have applied for the job if you know better than moyes

RBW you're clearly a wum.

No one is walking away. I would support United in the conference.

Granted I would moan and protest all the way at the owners for allowing it to happen but the club and what it means to me would never die.

Being able to criticise shows depth and passion. Going along blindly regardless and supporting decisions whatever is called being a sheep.

And for the record, young and ando aren't good enough for united and should have been sold by now. But I guess that view makes me less of a fan?

no it doesnt. I have seen loads of players who I dont think are good enough over the years. Its just opinions ffs

But I havent pulled my support for the club over it!

this isnt really the conversation fans should be having prior to the first game. I am not sure how you have drawn me in to it.

I am looking forward to the new season more that I have for a few years now. New manager, new era. Bring it on! Cant wait.

btw - to bring your christmas analgoy to conclusion, you are saying:

"Mummy, i refuse to play with last year's toys (even though they were very expensive and are really amazing) until I get new toys to add to my collection, I know you can afford them and i've even seen you try to buy the toys of the other mummys, but they wont sell them to you.. So I will stomp my feet until shít gets purchased, biátch"

No that's not what I am saying. Read over the posts properly and you might learn something.

Anyway I'll leave you to it. Am off to watch the match. In a box with some swansea fans. Guess that makes me even less of a fan by your reasoning.

Bottom line is I know Uniteds weakness and so does everyone on here and David Moyes. For whatever reason the owners haven't solved that problem and taking a big gamble in this opening few fixtures list.

no it makes you more of a Swansea fan actually. Your drinks/food bill will go directly to Swansea.

This guy is W&R to the extreme... I won't pay to watch my club until they spend 500m on players

If being a season ticket holder and going to away games makes me a 'cash cow' then i'm happy to be labelled as such

At least I have fun, get drunk and watch the team rather than sit watching match of the day sayin 'I didn't watch the game because I don't support the owners, just the team.' Great fan.

p.s any idiot can learn the history of any club, it doesnt make you more of a fan.
Actually showing support, instead of moaning about the club not adhering to your wishes would do that, in my opinion..
