Congratulations on fatherhood and another city fan. I agree with a lot you say and i don't expect anyone to have any sympathy with all the players who where bought and wanted to play for Sven only to find that ship had sailed.

I think we've been setting out for this outcome since the start. I remember the first press conference with Pearson on his return. Nothing said in it has changed.

A good read, Spherical. Perhaps one of the least peculiar you've ever written.

I'm with you on a lot of what you say in there, although I'm still finding it difficult to believe in our chances this season - simply because I think there are several good sides in the league this year. (There are also some very poor ones.) But we'll see how we go. It feels a bit like a transition year between now and the end of Pearson's contract, so as far as I'm concerned the pressure's off for the fans and I'd like to see us just get behind the team and not get too down when things inevitably don't go our way at times.
