Just saw the highlights, I'll download the full match and watch it tomorrow.
I'm not a Wenger fan and have wanted him replaced for some time.
But there's only one thing I can take from that match and that's that it was a fix. The ref's entire body language gave him away. Fcking sickening. We got treated neutrally and perhaps even partially last season for the most part so I don't understand wtf this is about.
The game

So you wouldn't have enjoyed anyone rubbing it in straight after laughing at any claims of gamesmanship I take it? Fack off then.

No, ref was awful but to suggest he's been paid off is silly.

I didn't mean to imply he was paid off. That's not what I'm saying. But yeah, sorry, I do believe that referees in England and everywhere else have agendas dictated to them by their bosses (football associations).
Most people think that's conspiracy talk or paranoid and luaghable or whatever. That's cool, I'm okay with that. Just personally I don't think I can watch a game any more that imo is choreographed.
And it's annoying that opposition supporters latch onto this when I said in the op I thought refs were partial to us last year. The Giroud penalty against Norwich for example.
Anyway, just my thoughts on it.

Or perhaps refs are humans who use their judgement to make decision- sometimes wrong, sometimes right.
Or.... jsut a thought, just maybe, VILLA WERE THE BETTER TEAM!
