What my next desperate steps would be.

We should've completed our business far before now, but we haven't. So it's time for some desperation.

1) First thing I would do is offer £10m for Ashley Williams, simply because we're absolutely desperate for a defender now with the injury/ suspension crisis we're in. I think it would be accepted and if not then go to £15m. Just anything to avoid us slipping away from our rivals even before October.

2) I would then make a £50m bid for Suarez, we need to do something like this, it needs to happen now just to give the fans and players a lift. I'm sure the players are as frustrated as us that there are so many glaring holes in our squad.

3) We then need to go out and break the bank for a defensive midfielder, I don't care or know who it is, I don't get paid obscene amounts of money to be a scout. Just someone who's going to break up attacks and shield our defence. I think Sami Khedira is available, why not him?

4) If the Suarez bid is rejected then Willian is on the move, match Liverpool's bid for him, if that doesn't persuade them into signing Suarez then we get a really good attacking player in Willian, someone who can play from the left where we are seriously lacking a flair player. Alternatively we could make a move for Nani in this position.

I know it's harder than this, but Arsene seriously needs to make it look like he's making an effort, any Arsenal fan can see what needs to be done, so why can't our boss? Why we didn't try harder for Gustavo I'll never know.
