Being at the game yesterday I did despair when I saw the starting line up and was concerned we were there for the taking.
The result was fantastic tho and shows we still know how to get a result in difficult situations. If Moyes can keep that going it could prove crucial.
Anyway, looking at the side and who was missing yesterday - Nani, Kagawa, Wayne - there really will be some confidence in the side going in to the next couple of big games.
Just imagine how that momentum would be enhanced if we added a Fabregas, Modric- Bale or dare I say it, Ronaldo to that team.
I really think at this stage one big signing will have to do but it has to be a big signing.
Fingers crossed it will happen because Fellaini isn't the answer. He looked awful yesterday.
Momentum if we buy next week

Probably just made up but i'd be ecstatic if it happened.

It was a gamble but after yesterdays great result a new signing next week of the right calibre would be huge for the moral and make us an even bigger obstacle to London Blue a week on Monday.

United have had the same side over the last 3 seasons and won 2 titles and lost the other in goal difference, all moyes did yesterday is carry that on as why fix if not broken. But he knows we need no giggs and a real quality midfielder and as pointed out above Nani and kagawa will make a big difference. Yesterday really has improved the belief and moral of the supporters, a big performance and moyes deserves a lot of credit!

I still do not get this. You see us missing piles of talented players and then want us to add a big name to give us momentum. By that logic, man city would have exploded with momentum.
The momentum comes when the first team becomes the unit that understands itself completely. New players morre often than not have to settle. I would like to get nani and kagawa involved yet before signing a "marquee" signing. Unless it is going into midfield, it could have a negative effect on the squad.

Agree in a sense but my point is drop fabregas or modric in to that side yesterday instead of cleverley or Giggs and we would be even better.
