Bundesliga V Premier League

The PL is definitely the more exciting of the two leagues but there's no question that in terms of fans' attendance the Bundesliga is by far the better ( to be fair it's had the highest attendance of any league in Europe the last couple of years ).
And being a regular viewer of the Bundesliga , I must say that I almost never see empty seats in any of their grounds - they all always seem to be completely packed.
We're probably a more passionate footballing nation than Germany ( open for argument ... ) but it doesn't always translate to impressive attendance numbers , especially when the likes of Wigan , Blackpool , Man City , Fulham , Bolton and others regurlarly failing to fill their grounds.

Thoughts?

The tickets are dirt cheap in Germany aren't they? I don't watch it but i saw a highlights show once and it was quite exciting to watch, although the Premiership is the best leage hands down for me

I like the setup of the Bundesliga, but watching it is just comical. The number of errors are incredible! I only really watch it if one of my German mates wants to go to the boozer to watch their equivalent of Soccer Saturday. Even that is a pretty good setup, they show 10 mins of a game or so, unless there's a goal somewhere else and then they change to that game. Other than that, I'll stay home and watch the EPL. A little concerned that there's no sign of them showing a 3pm kickoff this Sat though! Me and Germany could be about to fall out!

yeah they have the cheapest tickets of the 5 major leagues. it's nice to see that, and also german clubs aren't allowed to be more than 49% foreign owned or make big losses if i remember properly. german efficiency

The bundesliga is more exciting than the Premier League. They also literally have some of the next future wold stars, players like Usami, Kroos, Gotze, Schurrle, Kagawa, Muller and Main will become future stars. Makes me glad I'm diong German, only thing letting the Bundesliga down like you said is the standard. But this is changing I think, we're seeing more players German teams going to the top German teams rather than going abroad like they would have done a few years ago, players like Neuer, and Gongadon (spelling)

I agree. The only one thing that is letting the standards of the Bundesliga down is the standards of football. It is far more superior to other leagues in everything else.
