New manager 14/15

Let me start off by saying I am not WOB. I respect what he has done for this club and respect the way he has stuck with us through difficult times.
However he is part of the reason we've had to deal with theae difficult times. (not completely his fault as some would have you beleive)
I dont think he's the reason we dont spend but hes too much of a mr nice guy. He wont sign a player that will demote a key player to the bench as he doesnt want to hurt that player.

He has a vision for the future and has done alot to ensure the club has a great future BUT for me his biggest mistake is working towards just the future and forgetting the present day.

He's now in the last year of his contract and although i dont want him sacked, I dont want him to renew. Its a shame it has to wnd this way for a clib legend and I really hope he wins one last trophy before he goes but infortunately I can't see it.

What we need is a younger hungrier manager. Someone who isnt a ather figure to the players but someone who can strike fear into them and make them work for the shirt. Here are a few candidates:

Laudrup - Will have had 2 years premiership experience at tge end of the season and also a year in europe. Hes doing a brilliant job at swansea and is continuing the work Martinez and Rodgers did there. Like Rodgers will probably be willing to join a bigger club with or without CL football.

De Boer - has experience with a big club and like laudrup his side play some nice football. Would also probably bring in Bergkamp as his assistant and that can only be a good thing.

Stojkovic - Was apparently reccomended by Wenger a few seasons back. Cant say i know much about him but seems abit of a wenger 2.0 which is not what we need.

Garde - Like Stojkovic seems like a younger Wenger. Has played for Arsenal and is managing a big club.

Bould - the cheap internal option our board would love. Wont continue with the tippy tappy stuff and would be more old school british grit sort of manager but a positive is that he wont take no shlt from the players and would let them know when they make mistakes

Knowing this arsenal board, they'll go for cheap option and promote bould. Because "garde or stoickovic would kill boulds career" haha.

When you bring in a new manager you also bring a new load of connections. Look at the sort of players Swansea and Southampton have brought in mainly due to connections between the manager and player. Of course the same happened with Wenger, but a lot has changed since 96.
The one thing Fergie did was bring in Carlos Queiroz (however you spell it) which opened up the way for Nani and Ronaldo, plus others to come in. I think he brought with him a couple of scouts as well.

Klopp would be incredible. I just don't know why he would want to join us.

You respect him for holding onto his £7m a year job even though he does nothing? Well I guess you could respect him for that actually pretty smart of him!

We'll probably end up with someone like Gus Poyet. He did a good job at Brighton but was ultimately sacked so would be a cheap option.

Klopp has said 100 times that he won't leave until 2016 at the earliest, so I don't get how his name keeps getting brought up.

Exactly, and when was the last time Wenger changed up his backroom staff?

Klopps name keeps getting brought up because people have asked fans who they would like to see take over....and the answer for many is Klopp....
