Ouch Jake Cassidy!
Also - It's transpired today that we have actually only paid £250K for McDonald as oppose to the £750K we initially thought.
Bargain!

Terrible miss by Cassidy at the end but I thought he did well generally when he came on and is gradually gaining in confidence

Cassidy's miss reminded me of Vokes' miss against Man Utd which would have salvaged a draw for us a few years ago.

Sorry Wooly had to drive to North Wales.
They've finally got around to joining England with Wales, have they!
No road, when I was last in the UK. If we wanted to go to Wales (and we never did), we had to saddle-up the pack horses and the spare ladder to get across Hadrian's Wall.
Ah! pleasant memories.

To be fair to Cassidy, the chance was more awkward than it seems.
Ok, a professional footballer should be finishing those kind of opportunities but a dropping ball close to the body is a difficult skill.
A bit like snooker, do you watch the white ball or the colour?
Like driving round a bend, 10 ft ahead or 30 ft ahead?
shooting pigeons, watch the pigeon or its trajectory?
so many questions, and inevitably an open goal will be missed.
