I thought your man Ambrose was awful in midfield and wasn't surprised Lennon put him back at CB and Mulgrew into midfield. I thought Kolo was awful too.

I thought you were very pedestrian with the ball and really lacked width and creativity. Commons aside you had nobody who could really pick a pass.

Ivan I think playing Ambrose further up the pitch just makes his weakness all the more obvious. Should also add he has zero positional sense.

Aberdeen managed to get in between LB and CB on two or three occasions for a clean header. There was one point izzy was marking two Aberdeen players with Ambrose in front of him with absolutely no idea.

I think it's looking more and more his best position is full back but the problem you've got is you're already blessed with two very good players in the RB position.

Can you really afford to ship him out at this stage of the window though as you'd need to get someone in as he goes out the door. I think you're stuck with him for the season to be honest.

Oh no doubt our defence this season will consist of Ambrose paired with one of Virgil/Mulgrew/Kolo.

The boy Virgil looked decent when he came on.

Virgil is suppose to be a top prospect, he looks like he will be dominant in the air and supposedly can play football will make judgment come the end of the season.

Subs we had most of the play but the few times Aberdeen managed to break at us I thought the defence looked poor. I'm just thinking about coming up against better teams.
