Tough matches

Bit of a slow start to the season is probably as mildly as I can put it for Utd. Don't like the look of the next two league matches either - St J seem to be going really well, then Celtic is obviously a toughy.

Goodie really needs a goal to settle his nerves I think.

Does anyone know why Souttar isn't playing?

I promise I am who I say I am...

Was thinking we really needed a win against Hibs, but now we really really need a win against St. Johnstone.
Otherwise it could be over 6 games into the season before we get our first win... not exactly the start we were hoping for.

It's like being back to the old days of a dreadful start I think. Like you I thought the Hibs match would be a kickstart, sounded like we should have been out of sight before it all kicked off with red cards. St Johnstone just seem to be going really well just now and we're mince at the back...

Also I see the club decided not to appeal the red card - reading the statement it sounds like they thought it shouldn't have been a red but that they wouldn't win the appeal. It really was a handbags moment I think, we could do without Gunning being out the team again though!

Do we not have the Dons after that too?? And what is looking a tricky away tie in the league cup.

Think Dumbarton might have got pumped at the weekend right enough

We did seem to be a bit better against Hibs right enough, think we might turn in a decent performance this weekend, just got a feeling.........

County away, Motherwell at home (bogey team) then Hearts away. Sounds like they tried much harder against Hibs to get the ball to GMS which is something. Hope your feeling comes to something westcoast...

We've got to improve at some point you'd think We already know we have decent players in Goodie, Gauld, GMS and Armstrong. Robertson seems like a good find too and was Butcher not a lot better this weekend too??

St Johnstone don't really have a great record against us lets hope that continues..........

True there are good players. Hopefully the improvements will be made on the training ground as the season goes on because there are some good teams in the league and somebody has to finish second.
