Man City looked very good v Newcastle. - Champions in my book.
Chelsea & Utd are always there. 2 or 3rd either way.
Spurs having a tremendous Summer window. - 4th - Nailed on.
Arsenal about to explode. Might get 6th, 7th is my bet.
Liverpool, I think we'll get 5th.
Forget about 4th

Tbf, there is not many stokes about is there. Im happy enough, get this cissokho for left competition and another attacking player (who i dont know, spurs have bought them all ) we will be fine.

Not sure what more we can give to our first team defense.
I've always said I'm happy with a Agger/Toure partnership for a season or two. Johnson is at his peak now and we will struggle to improve left back as there is limited quality in that position.
Other than signing a quality CB and move Toure to 3rd choice which seems a tad unnecessary, I don't think there's a lot that needs doing there.

Rodgers needs to ring JH and tell to not let Roma sell Lamela

Don't know why 4th has been thrown around so easily over the last few weeks, TBH. I'm a natural pessimist, but that's out of reach for us, IMO.
5th would be a really successful season.

no it would not!
a successful season = winning something. 4th is jsut another season cos WINNING and finishing 4th doesn't mean the same thing.

A successful season can be interpreted in a number of ways; staying up if you've just been promoted; breaking into Europe after years of mid-table; and for us, moving in the right direction after a few years of pretty mediocre seasons. I'd be happy if we got 5th, ecstatic with anything else...

According to my humble reckoning Man Utd position in top four could be under serious challenge this season despite their comprehensive victory on opening day. I wouldn't say the same for Man City and Chelsea, though. Nevertheless realistically speaking, Arsenal and Spurs are the teams who we 'll most probably compete with for the fourth spot. So until transfer window closes there are many question marks regarding possible Bale departure and replacements, Wenger eagerness to bring in quality, us to keep hold on Suarez, us adding steel to our defensive organization among other. Expect 2nd September to tell more.

If RvP gets injured United will finish 16th
If Bale leaves or gets injured Spurs will finish 8th
If Giroud gets injured Arsenal will become favourites for 3rd
