Can't say I was too surprised by today's result. We have been woeful right through pre season, loosing to some pub teams. Even against Cliftonville a bunch of part time footballers who drink every weekend, scraped through against a terrible Elfsborg.
Against Ross County we laboured and agains Aberdeen we grinded a win! We haven't got out of 2nd gear at all, haven't played free flowing football, it's been rigid and predicable.
This team are as good as through, they will park the bus and we will struggle to break them down like Elfsborg. We have lost our best midfielder and striker and our board have stood by let us get weaker as a team. Lennon deserves the money to replace them. He should of been given 6/7 mill, speculate to accumulate. There was 25 mill at stake and they penny pinched.
The only plus side is at least we have Europa league, which judging by our recent performances is more out level. We just have to accept our team is weaker and not expect the same as last season. Well done to the board.

Where did I say spend 25 million? We have raked in over 40 million in the last 18 months. We sold our best striker for 5 million yet won't spend 5 million on Finbogasson. It's mind mind boggling.
Yea it worries me to, which is my point. We have let too many players and not replaced them which has weakened us.
