It was mentioned in a thread below, but i think it deserves its own thread
Phil hay on twitter, says we have turned down a third bid for mccormack, says boro are unlikely to bid again and says that we have opened contract talks with him.
A new contract for him would be such a massive boost, add that to wootton its looking positive! just a winger to go now and we are set to challenge for the play offs
ross mccormack update!

Blackpool backed off pretty quick when they remembered they were tinpot and skint.

Ross had better start scoring more goals or it's the wing for him.

If 'Boro have tested our resolve and finally been sent packing, plus Ross offered a new deal, that would be brilliant. Not just 'cos we end up keeping Ross, but it would also send a message to other clubs that things have changed at LUFC. Must admit, I thought he was for the off, but maybe that was more about the behaviour of the last regime than reality. Never really been convinced by GFH, but benefit of the doiubt, and all that. Well done them

Strange, ain't it...? Our skint arabs (as they have oft been described by others) have continued to rebuff the offers, they have also brought players in having got money out of a mythical bank account in the skies.
Perhaps they are better at the business of running a football club than some (who have stated they wish them out) are...?
