More Power!

Morning Gooners,

Following recent links to Pogba and Kondogbia to help solve our 'defensive midfield' crisis, would you not prefer that we got both?

Although they have similar physical attributes they do have different playing styles. Kondogbia appears to be the more defensively minded out of the two, wheras young Paul does like a good raid forward and reminds one of a young Patrick Viera in his approach to the game.

Now, either addition would be good, but surely both would be superb? Both would bring a real physical presence to an extremely light weight and weak midfield, but Geoff would add discipline and defensive security, whilst Paul would add drive to the attack, tanking it through the midfield.

Personally, i'd be happy to stay with Giroud as our main front man if we got these two and some cover for the wings, which is becoming desperate now! For a combined fee of just under £40m, we would have money spare to add depth to the squad. I think with all the top strikers gone this window, theres no point paying over the odds for second tier ones.

For me, the lack of strength and power withing our team is the most concerning element going into another season. Despite not having a world class striker, i dont think we'll struggle to score goals.

Just thought i'd get the ball rolling this morning. Give me your thoughts!

Both ? I'd be stunned if we got either.

It's all paper talk. Calm down and wait till signings are on Arsenal.com, until then our squad is our current squad.

" i'd be happy to stay with Giroud as our main front man"

You are aware we have no other striker?

Doubt Juve will let him go and why would he come back to England after his first very successful year in Italy?

He played a very good season, scored some absolute stunners and has a great partnership with Vidal.

Juve are building a great team and he's very much part of it

Not sure whether Sevilla will let Kondogbia go. They need money but they have already sold Navas and Negredo. Unless you offer crazy money for the kid, he'll stay.

Your best shot was Gustavo in my opinion

Did anyone else read the title in Jeremy Clarkson's voice?

"Forget about Pogba," Juventus director general Beppe Marotta is quoted as saying in Italian sports paper Tuttosport. "We do not have the slightest intention of listening to any offer which may arrive for our midfielder."

Told ya
