Now that young Derry born James Mc Clean has become the latest player to switch from NIreland to the ROI the whole so called "poaching" debate has been reopened.
Most NIreland fans claim that the likes of Gibson,Wilson,Duffy etc.. were robbed from the IFA squad by the FAI.
So, surely this argument is also true of former ROI player Alex Bruce who was persuaded (or poached to use your terminology) to switch from the Republic of Ireland side by the IFA to the NIreland side.
And who is to say this won't happen again in the future.
Discuss.
Was Alex Bruce Poached?

I have plenty to say it's just hard to talk to someone who's instinct is to hark back 30 years when talking about something happening today.

CP My point is , the riots and troubles over here were FAR more sinister , hence the need from more force against both sides. Do you deny this?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Deny it? It's pretty clear there's one rule for the riots in England and another one here. Have you not been watching the news? Riots here are confined to small areas by whatever means necessary, they're wrecking city centres across the water!
Tell you what, get a mob, take them into Belfast City Centre and attempt to start burning and robbing shops and see how far you get without plastic bullets or water cannons appearing!!! Face it, you're a 2nd class British citizen.

Dont twist what i said earlier (and i gave reasons for it) please Gibbo , your making yourself to look like a bitter and twisted fella.
I always look to the future , as i hope my 2 children grow up in a better place than we did. (oops mentioned the past there again)

No CP , they are looting and vandalising the place. Not SHOOTING at each other and the police (well maybe one or 2 incidents).

No its because they basically see all people in NIreland (Nationalist & Unionist ) alike as basically second class citizens. Certainly not British like people from London, Bristol, Liverpool and Manchester

Keep deluding yourself Alex. I'm sure if this rioting was taking place in Belfast 'Call Me Dave' Cameron would've came home from his holiday early.

True, there was more riots in Belfast over the course of the summer than have taken place in England!!
They just have an attitude of "lt the mad paddies at it "
