Theo

Am I the only one who seems to think he stays wayyy to wide away from the play, we've had to attack mainly from the left. he needs to come abit more central and try some "one-twos"

Agreed, he only gets involved if he feels there's a scoring chance in it for him - otherwise he's absent.

Every pass he makes has 'pass it back to me so I can score' written all over it.

i think we need to see the Theo of last seasons Carling cup match + looking for an improved contract.

THAT GUY WAS A BEAST

Theo is 1/10 on a bad day but he can still score out of nothing.

Btw being wide doesnt mean stagnant, he has the pace to close the distance into the middle and more options to the attack, either by dragging some defenders away or getting at the end of a pass

Theo puts it on a plate for Gibbs.

If he works on his close control/dribbling he will be a destructive force in the next few seasons.

A massive difference since hes come abit more central, he needs more of this

He is capable of tearing any defence a new one. He just needs to be used correctly. Focus on him and play him on a high line

theres always a chance of him scoring but his dribbling and vision is horrible.

i think playing him through the middle would force him to improve his intelligence . cuz he gets to hide on the wing

Let's say you found someone who had never watched Walcott play and didn't know how old he was, and you stuck him in front of a compilation of all his involvement in matches - if you then asked that person how old he thought Walcott was, he'd likely say about 18/19. There are flaws in his game at 24 that really shouldn't be there, and he appears to have taken on about 2-3 years of development in seven years.
