With the imminent sale of Bale to Madrid, it reminds me of Arsenal a number of years ago selling Petit & Overmars to Barcelona.
The money from those two (how it was spent) helped Arsenal consistently challenge.
Hopefully the same will happen with us

Spurs have bought some half decent players.
Wouldn't swap Suarez for Soldado, or Coutinho for Willian either to be honest.
Big season for AVB now though.
If he doesn't get Spurs in the champions league, after spending what he has, then he's a goner.
