Well, no more Bresnan or Tremlett posts anymore as Tremlett has ruled himself out of the third test with his back injury.
Ravi for Trott looks like the only change.
Tremlett's Out

Low temperatures and wind doesn't suit them, especially when they are losing.

Too true hope, and as we know, they were very lucky to beat us last time they were over here, and we were a much weaker team then. Can we expect any fight from them tomorrow or will we just pile on the runs and then win by an innings as I am fearing?

I don't believe India will just capitulate: yes, this isn't their best team by a long mark, and their preparation for the series has been questionable - but I don't think the Indian media, or their passionate fans will stand for such a defeatist attitude, especially against the Old Country!
If they do lose the series without winning one single game, then I do foresee a massive clear-out of some the deadwood in the squad and perhaps even the coaching staff. But the BCCI really need to decide what is more important to them: having the best TM side in the world, or concentrating on quick riches from the t20 & IPL

I'm really pleased I had £25 on a 4-0 margin at the moment.

Congratulations Old One Eye. You are going to win that bet This Indian team is running on empty and will be picked off embarrassingly easily for the rest of the test match series.

Hopefor... yes, precisely, in India's 2nd innings.
Are you seriously telling me that when india were 2 down in their 2nd innings you disagree with the description 'ground into the dust'?

Having said that, if Tremlett was 100% I would personally still have preferred him to Bresnan. Yes - Bresnan did well, but his performances pretty much came after the Indian's had already been ground into the dust. I feel on balance a fully fit Tremlett is somewhat more likely to do the initial grinding than Bresnan.

Did you see Bresnan bowling yesterday? Thank god you are not selecting our beloved England cricket team. Bresnan is hammering what many believe to be the finest batting team in the world. I accept no excuses. Bresnan is bowling superbly and we are lucky to have him in our team. Ohh he bats quite well too

He did bowl like a drain to the tailenders but yes superbly before lunch.

All the bowler were bowling to orders. Bowl short. It was a stupid plan as it often is. Only one or two yorkers tried.

Bresnan himself said that it was a decent wicket to bat on yesterday. Bowling them out for 224 was a superb effort, no matter how well the Indian tail fought back. Our boys are showing us how to bat on this pitch. Boundaries coming quickly now. KP looking set for some serious fireworks again
