We keep on discussing players to be offloaded from first team squad and yet the club have not managed to bring in players of real quality.

So far the club have offloaded 28 players with Bendtner and Park still to be offloaded.

Our squad is threadbare with Messrs Diaby, Vermaelen and Oxlade-Chamberlain all out for length
of time.

Podolski may not be top drawer, but he is a good squad player.

When I see that Wenger plans to bring back Flamini that says already a lot about his strategic thinking and ambition. Frankly I see only a decline of the club under his stewardship.

It's not because of his nationality.
It's because he just doesn't have a CFs movement.

As for Podolski down the middle... ffs. Clueless is the most polite thing that can be said about people who think this.

.....just a thought...if Wenger wants to sell why CL cup tie him by bringing him on in me week. It's not as if he was used to try and win us the game....he came on when the game was over....

Otherwise that would point to Arsenal selling him to a non CL team which to be fair is probably where his ability puts him unfortunately

Podolski is not CL Cup Tied. Registration for CL is determined once Transfer Window is closed and we
register up to 25 players for Competition proper.

What is for me an issue is that Podolski despite lack of
regular starts in second half of season still managed to score 16 goals.

Frankly we need him in our squad even if he is coming off bench. When I read the suggestion that he could be going out on 'loan' it demonstrates just how
daft the people managing club are.

The club is despite the result on Wednesday in 'crisis'.
We have not improved our first team which needs at
least two quality new players and our squad is exceedingly light in all departments.

Are we bringing in Flamini at expense of Podolski. That is laughable?

Agreed, we have sold 28 players and have a very thin squad, Podolski is essential to build up the squad. But maybe Podolski wants to play more due to being a World Cup Year, so he wants to leave to another club where he is a first team player. I wish he wouldn't leave though.
