I wonder whether Jose would have let him go.

so what he scored a goal

If people took the same attitude whenever Torres scored

Torres brings so much more to the table, goals are just a plus.
his presence opens the game up for others so they can score the goals. this incredible unselfishness is what i love at my club, not Sturridge selfish ass who only wants to see his name on the scoresheet.
The Torres haters dont understand what he brings to the table. Rafa, Mourinho, Carlo, Del Bosque - these intelligent men know.

I hope I havent offended anyone. I just feel very strongly on this subject.

if ever there was blind loyalty, this is a perfect example.
torres could be sitting on the bench and he would still be "creating space" in the eyes of fans like you

you should watch him specificially for Chelsea. Hes an even better player now than he was at Liverpool. Thats a bold statement but I stand by it. He doesnt have the goals in him no more but he isnt so one-dimensional and in patches we play some breathtaking football with him at the center of it.
If he scored more goals? Well RIP rest of the league.

its a bold statement and an utter sheight one at that.
torres is a shadow of the world class striker that firat arrived at liverpool.
no amount of running into empty spaces will change that fact

hmm lets agree to disagree friend. im very happy with Torres and you can be very happy with that one dimensional Sturridge boy.
Once we get Rooney, oh boy. A Torres/Rooney strike duo? We'll see who will be laughing at the end of the season mr Leiva.

Torres would be lucky to be a first choice striker in Siberian C League

JOSÉ @Fieldy_CFC 20m
Notice how Sturridge said he used to play with pressure but now he doesn't. That's the difference between a top 3 team and a mid table team.
