Title says it all really.
A good win off the back of what was (after the 40th) a very average performance.
If we play like that next week for so long we will get battered.
Todays match also emphasises the fact we need (NEED) another forward option since rodgers also doesnt see ibe/sterling as first team regulars.
Lets take the 3 points and the clean sheet and forget the rest.
Good win, but that was poor

Righteous1, serious question:
Would you be happy if tomorrow rodgers calls the team in for a cool down session and tells them "great game lads, lets keep that all season"
Or would you prefer:
"Great result yesterday lads but we need to work a bit more on x, y and z and do this, and try not do this. It will come lads"
My guess is youd prefer the 2nd, which is what im saying.

You are not Rodgers.
You are a fan, we have won.
Enjoy it and stop moaning.

Yes im a fan that wants to see my team doing better.
The enemy of good is great.
We werent even good.

Its the start of the season and we have won both games.
We were hammering teams a few months ago, that will come again.
For now I am more than happy to start with two wins.

We played well under Kenny and last season and didn't win why moan as this is a one off for us, if this happens all season performance-wise the I would maybe understand your moaning but like I said this is not the norm so stop being a d ick

We were lacking in midfield yet again. Against the likes of Utd and Chelsea were going to get ruined unless we dominate in this area.

Not being a d ick just saying what i see.
Forgive me for not seeing us beating amyone 4/5-0 after today.
But im not saying we cant.
I would like to think our manager and our players dont get use to this as a par and look to continue the improvement.
Other than that, yes 2 wins from 2 means we go into next week without playing catch up which will be different.
Hopefully we dont give utd so much time on the ball.
Surely you agree with that?

Yes I do agree with that, can't you see the result was far more important today because of the Utd match coming up, we could easily lose that and if we had not have won today it would have been same old sh
ite for us. Truth is we tried 1st half to tire them out as it was 3rd game for them in a week, we were in the lead so throwing it away trying to play attacking football would gave been foolhardy. Our defence preseason was great so buck obviously had more faith than you.
We needed the win and got it, you can't please everyone performance-wise and I for one don't expect the same v Utd being at Home! Although if it happened and we won I'm sure you'll still be pleased?

Id be glad we got the 3 points and the win over utd but the performance eing the same after two games would be concerning cause we are not good enoughto go through the season playing poorly and winning.
Having said that, i am happier seeing us play poorly and pick up 1-0 wins than playing well and not winning like last couple seasons.
