When: Monday through Sept. 9

Where: USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York

Top seeds: Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams

Defending champions: Andy Murray, Williams

What's new this year: For the first time since 1954, the tournament is scheduled to end on a Monday. Each of the past five years, rain pushed the men's final from Sunday to Monday.
