Quite concerned about him.
His ankle really seems to be bothering him at the moment. I think it is unfair to say that he has played 'badly' recently; he has just been well below his high standards. He doesn't seem to be able to play his complete game, as if he is second guessing himself about how to play. Maybe that is because he is playing with Ramsey rather than Arteta, but he does seem to not be as confident as one would hope.
Jack in this current state is still a more than useful player. The way he links up with Santi is very promising, and the fact he gets himself into the pocket between the midfield and defence (where is best) is also encouraging.
I just hope he becomes more comfortable within his own body. He reminds me of Ramsey two years ago; unsure and not completely happy with how they are playing (I remember back then Aaron struggled to break a smile). This in itself is another reason why we need reinforcements, which to be honest is looking likely to be answered in signing Flamini and Cabaye/other. A signing will buy Jack more time, will lift a weight from his shoulder, and knowing the kid as we do, will probably motivate him to improve.
All Jack needs to do is feel comfortable on his ankle, and to really enjoy his football. Hopefully we see him break into smile when this happens, a la Santi.
This season, our midfield looks to be playing as smooth football as I have seen for a few seasons, and it still hasn't reached top form yet!
C'mon you Wilshere, c'mon you Arsenal

What are you on? He keeps getting kicked and taken down and your are saying its his fault, he needs to improve? Opposition can see he is quality so try and eliminate him!

Do people think it'd be better if he was left out of the world cup squad if England qualify?

He seems to go down after every tackle and stay down. Many times after getting caught in possession, he stays down while leaving a yawning gap to exploit in the centre against our already frail middle. I want to believe all is not well rather than him needing to man-up a little.

When Santi broke his ankle he was still smiling when he was stretchered off.
