Liw ......... take the following as a compliment. You're to the point and don't flower things up with BS. You give opinion which it has to be said is very often insightful and correct. Not always mind.
You invariably make me chuckle with your one liner responses. My responses today are just a bit of lunch time banter ....... bully - nah, wouldn't know where to start .......
As for the players that left and joined Naarwich ..... totally agree. All did their bit for our club, so i'd applaud any one of them returning. I'd like to see a match with our current squad against our Naarwich reserves mind - more out of curiosity to see how we'd get on.

Be interesting to see how becchio would get on too <

We'd be able to see him put in loads of effort like we used to, if not always the end product, yes i know he scored for us, but with a bit more control he could have been a much better player ...........
Liked the guy mind, always gave 100% from what i could see. Being a hard working carthorse i don't mind, being a lazy carthorse I do. He was the former

Theres not really anger from me about it, i just think it would make for a good cup game. The storyline would be setup nicely with a bunch of ex leeds players returning. The banter flying around would be fun.
I agree it would be nice to get a big team as well to fill the stadium, but we can always invite one here the round after we beat norwich

It'd be a good game. We could win it as well, and if it happened, hope all 4 of them would get a massive clap from the crowd.

I might hope they get the clap. Granted Bates couldn't wait to get his grubby mitts on the transfer fees, but anyone who thinks that Johnson and Howson weren't instrumental in unsettling Snodgrass and Becchio and persuading them to go, is living in cloud cuckoo land. This club is finally moving in the right direction and will no longer be a feeder club to clubs the size of Norwich (cringeworthy to say the least). In a couple of years with the crop that's coming through and some shrewd investment, I believe we have a manager that will take us past that size of club and beyond!
