What a joke.

I come back from playing football, and I see that Lamela and Eriksen are on the verge of joining Spurs.

What a joke. Where are our signings?

I see we are linked with Mata. Will he come to us? Fook no.

Why?

a) Unlike us Chelsea don't sell to rivals (although difficult to class us as rivals to them)
b) What will he offer him that he doesn't have at Chelsea? He's good enough to start for Chelsea and will do anyway as he's better than their other midfielders.

This window has been a joke. If you're in the AKB or WOB there is no denying that.

We did some stupid stuff like hype up our warchest, instantly increasing the price for players we were interested, enrage other clubs and managers and cancelled a deal (or didn't pay extra) for a world class player, and go for a mariginally better player who had a mysterious clause which could or could not be there.

Seeing Spurs sign the likes of Capoue and Soldado and be on the brink of signing Lamela and Eriksen (although never say never with Spurs) sees me being envious of them willing to spend money on quality as well as addressing the weak areas, whereas unlike us we haven't done that, and I fear another 8-2 later on in the season. However by then it'll be too late.

I still think we'll beat them on Sunday. However I don't think we'll sign anyone that will be classed as 'world class', and that Wenger will use the win on Sunday as a way of saying we don't need to buy.

Right now Wenger has to go. As I said above this window has been a bit of a shambles. Missing out on the like of Higuain and Gustavo was criminal. We claimed we had this 'warchest' however it appears Wenger is too afraid to spend it.

If Wenger was to spend as highly unlikely as that it is right now, I'd be willing to give him one last chance. Howver doesn't look likely right now.
