To me the article sounds very bitter.
Yes we havent got the the semi ect but why should City or Dortmund to effect be seeded higher than us?
City have done fack all in Europe for over 50 years just because they have a rich benefifactor doesnt mean they should be seeded. Maybe if they actually got past the group stages they might get a better group.
As for dortmund as people so quick to forget that we took 4 points from them a couple of seasons ago in the CL when they where in our group?

So consistently good teams are ranked higher then. In other news the Titanic sets sail today and it's being heralded as the unsinkable ship.

The seeding system also helped Chelsea last season, and Manchester United the season before.
You still have to win the games.
Plus, as the article alludes to nearer the end, being top seed doesn't guarantee an easy draw.

The article is stupid. It criticises Arsenal for keeping a consistently high coefficient and suggests that there are teams better than Arsenal with lower coefficients. Then says that Arsenal only keep a high coefficient because they are against teams with lower coefficients.
Also:
"Arsenal are a prime example of this sort of 'flat-track bully'.
In the past five seasons, the average rankings of the other teams in the Gunners' group has been 55, and they have not even had any dark horses like Dortmund were last year to deal with"
Dortmund clearly only became a European Goliath last season and couldn't have possibly been top class when we were drawn with them the season before after they had just won the league...

So it helps Arsenal and screws Celtic. That can only be a good thing. We have earned our seeding.
