Morning All
Apperently the Eriksen deal will involve a Tottenham player going to Ajax on loan rumours are that it is Sigurdson. Im not sure i would be happy with that Siggy pop's up with the important goal every now and then, i would rather Tommy Carroll go there to gain experience.
Thoughts?
Eriksen - Loan

Tom needs a move to a Championship side that will be in the top 6, a side like Watford, Leicester, QPR, he will get lots of the ball and impress

Eriksen for 12m would be incredible business and he's a very exciting player.
However, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
He said a couple of months ago he would only consider a CL team.
Fact is, Amsterdam accepted our bid but now it's all about Levy/Baldini/AVB to sell our project to the player and convince him to join us, as I'm sure there are or will be other clubs trying to sign him.

I'd prefer to see Tom stay in the Prem if possible, give him a real opportunity to show he's capable of stepping up.

Like Townsend before him, a loan lower down then a Prem side next season, with the influx of talent we have I can't see a young player aside from Rose and Townsend breaking in

Spur, he also said we were a team that interested him so its a real case of mixed messages at the moment. We'll find out soon enough whether he's keen to join or not though.

He's already had one spell at Derby though, but I do take your point about it being hard to see a place for him right now

He will play in the Europa and the LC but not the league or the FA cup which is sad to say

He'll struggle to get a game in the cups this season to be honest. Holtby is miles ahead and even he wouldn't.
A loan for Carroll is the best option if possible. If Harry will take him at QPR it would be the next best thing to a Prem loan

Or Watford (Zola as boss, nearly PL promoted) .

To be honest, I think Eriksen is better than Lamela is at the point in time, but they both can hugely progress in the seasons to come. Looking forward to seeing how everyone plays together.
