Match Preview
Tottenham are expected to ring the changes for the second leg of their Europa League play-off with Dinamo Tbilisi.Spurs go into the game 5-0 up from the first leg leaving Andre Villas-Boas in a comfortable position to give some of his fringe players a chance to impress. With Sunday's North London derby with Arsenal in mind Villas-Boas is likely to rest several of his top stars, including Hugo Lloris, Michael Dawson, Paulinho and Roberto Soldado. The likes of young English duo Tom Carroll and Harry Kane could be handed rare starts, while Brad Friedel should get a run-out in goal.Andros Townsend impressed in the first leg meeting and he will be hoping to celebrate his England call-up with another start.Aaron Lennon is unlikely to be risked as he recovers from a foot injury, while Emmanuel Adebayor and Benoit Assou-Ekotto may not feature as they continue to be linked with moves away from the club.Tbilisi are playing for pride and they will go into the game fresh after their match against Spartaki Tskhinvali was postponed at the weekend

THFC team: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Naughton, Holtby, Sandro, Carroll, Sigurdsson, Townsend, Defoe
THFC subs: Lloris, Fryers, Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho, Kane, Soldado

Excellent result but certainly a training exercise. Still glad to see the likes of Holtby etc playing so well. Right where is our signings Erik Lamela and the Defender....i would like them confirmed

Really think Defoe will put in a shift this season.
Seems happier now that the pressure is off him.

Good, i would hate to sell Defoe. He will get plenty of games and although he is 2nd fiddle to Soldado....he will get games and maybe even partner soldado a few times.

Look at Hernandez.
I'd take 10 Defoe sub appearances like for the <Citeh> game all the time.

Good performance tonight. No way will Defoe be going, he is too valuable.
