...this season and we put up a fantastic showing. Gutted not to take the trophy but so many positives to take back to Cobham. Defence was solid, Schurrle played well I thought and a fantastic finish from Torres. Let's really kick on from here and take three points from Goodison next! KTBFFH

We did the Premier League proud. Any other PL team would have been trounced.

It would be interesting to see how Man Utd would fair againt Bayern then United can see the gulf between a CL winning team and what they currently have.
Right now they have one philosophy get the ball to RVP a player they were lucky to get due to the stupidity of Arsenal.
We all hoped United would be dumb enough to give us Rooney but hey ho onwards and upwards.

"Right now they have one philosophy get the ball to RVP"
- and there, in nutshell, is the perfect definition of a numpty.

Juan, care to suggest which match will be tougher for Chelsea then the 2013 Champions League winners and arguably best team the world? Perhaps leave a constructive comment rather than using expletives and calling people numpties?

You may have more of a chance against us this season now that Tevez has moved on.
He always had a blinder when playing Chelsea.

Koma, maybe but our midfield has struggled with Yaya in recent times

Yes Somebody, I would care to suggest that you'll find much tougher games against United, City, Arsenal, Liverpool and even Stoke this season. I'll challenge YOU to name one game where you think you'll simply coast it.

I never said we would coast any games (although the Hull game at home was pretty close to that). I also agree that the games you have suggested will be tough and we will have to play well to win. However, none of them will be as tough as that Bayern game but that is my opinion mate.
