Don't post a lot but have been a member for years back when this was going on bbc. Anyway just thought I would come on to say I am utterly shocked but amazed by Levy and Baldini ruthlessly seeking out great bargain prices for highly rated youngsters and coming up with the goods. For too long as a spurs fan the closing of the window came just as we were supposedly about to sign this that and the other but hats off, a great great team has been built this summer. Got so annoyed when I had to watch parker pivot about fifty times then charge into oppositions corner and lose ball. I am so excited to see this team in action. With the depth we have teams won't know what to expect and we will be very hard to predict. I honestly think with the addition of one more top top striker and a left back we could mount a strong challenge for the title next season and certainly push for top 3 this season.
I have been reading a lot of in/out articles and the gist of things is that we have there and there abouts balanced the books at spurs. We have built a world class training facility. We have a stadium in the pipeline to be built and I think Mr.Lewis and Levi know this and want to build a squad that is going to carry the Tottenham legacy for years to come and attract fans world wide. I just have a sneaky feeling we are not done bringing players in although I can see a few that will leave if we do such as Benny and Ade.
Its very early days but even as a neutral you have got to admire the business done. This is a window i personally will never forget after so many disappointing ones as a spurs fan.
........then again it could all go tats up knowing spurs, fingers crossed it doesn't. COYS

I'm confident in these signings but I agree a left back and a striker would be amazing. I'm not a walker fan so someone who could cover there would be good also.

So... I am hearing some really good things about this erikson player. Some are saying that he could make the same impact as Suarez (positive impact, no biting or racism).
Is this true? Can somebody describe to me what we have in our hands with lamela and erikson?

Erikssen, typical Ajax player. Can play left wing, right wing, cm , or behind striker. Deceiving pace, great vision, passing and set pieces are spot on. The creative spark we have been missing. Lamela is a scary winger striker who can compete with the best of them when it comes to dribbling. I am unconvinced of him as a striker but coming in from wing he will be deadly, especially with Erikssen being able to pick Soldado, Chadli or Lamela out.

Lamela is special. He could easily be better than Bale if he wanted too, its how hard he works that will decide how far he goes.
Eriksen is a player with a massive wrap on him. But I've never seen anything that would make me think he is as special as people were making out. A bit overhyped I reckon but for 11mil you got him at about his price I reckon. A good signing nonetheless.

Hernandez and Coentrao and I'd just about make you favourites for the title tbh. Your already a dark horse IMO and signing a top quality left back as well as another quality striker who offers something different would put you right up there.
Its going to be the best prem in history this year in my opinion, looking forward to it.

Id say the only two areas of our squad with weaknesses are GK and LB
Because we play with a high line in defence it suits Lloris perfectly as he is unbelievably quick of his line but obviously not Brad.
I rate Rose at LB and have been impressed, but it seems BAE dosent have a future at the club so he will need replacing.
This is what i would like to see before the window closes.
New LB and GK
Siggy sold or loaned out . Gomes sold and perhaps a premiership loan for Caroll.
If we dont sign anyone else no one could grumble though. Levy and Baldini have done us proud.
