His performances just like Rafa was.
At first a lot of us Chelsea fans disliked Rafa in charge due to 2 things.
1. What he said about the club
2. The fact that we did not agree with the dismissal of RDM
I think most Chelsea like myself was still willing to give him a chance as he could of been a great manager for us
But it was the complete opposite, some of his team selections and substitutions were absolutely mind baffling. By the time that the team did start to put in consistent performances which was like at the end of the season, we already had enough of the guy and couldn't wait to see him leave. I do think if Rafa was a great manager regardless of what was said in the past we all would of warmed to him
Eto'o should be treated the same. If his performances are anything close to his Inter and Barca days, or he is a consistent performer, we will be over the moon. If his performances are poor and inconsistent then we have every right to not like him in a Chelsea shirt
It will have nothing to do with what he had said in the past, it would be down to his performances in a Chelsea shirt!
This is to all you fans who want us to hate him due to what was said in the past
Rant over
Eto'o will be judged on....

I have a sneaking feeling that Eto will do well (short term). 1 year contract just about right.
