Just how key could Deadline Day be, not only for the Transfer Window as a whole, but in your Season? With it vastly approaching with just 2 full day's left to go, Wenger really needs to kick on and make sure he gets the players that he wants and signed well before that deadline.
The positive side of Deadline Day for Wenger is, it applies more pressure for you to get your signings in as soon as possible and the pressure also allows you to focus your time on making bids and getting deals done. Because so far, there has been so much time in this Transfer Window, Wenger has spent too long on his targets and now, they've gone. Examples:
Luis Suarez - A major saga that was going on for a good month I would have thought with non-stop talk of him making a move to Arsenal, but there was only a couple of bids made really within that time. To get the players you want, you've got to accept the demands at the Managers requests (Rodgers - £55M) and just take the money and get him in. He could have supplied you with a lot this season if you were to sign him.
Gonzalo Higuain - A small saga that started at the very beginning on the Transfer Window and did last a couple of weeks. It looked almost a certainty when there were rumours that he was having a medical and I was sure that he was to sign, but from there, nothing else was heard. So it just plummeted out in the end to nothing and then, in ample time (hours), Napoli have signed him for £30M.
Angel Di Maria and Karim Benzema - They've both lasted a few days now (although nothing too long) but have been rumours on going since the start of the week now. Once again, is it all speculation bids as well with you (apparently) bidding £70M for Di Maria, Benzema and Ozil? Or is it just Twitter and papertalk once more? But these are the players you have to nail down if you want to improve and make sure you sign as quickly as Napoli signed Higuain, you can't miss out on top players again.
So there just some examples of just how important Deadline Day could be for you if there is to be any Transfer Activity, which I expect from Arsenal. So you've really got to lock down on who are to sign and make sure you get the deals wrapped up as quickly as possible.

SD, Never thought you were going to overpay for Higuain really. You offered £30M, about the right price. But you were certainly overpaying on Suarez, not worth more than £30M that fella. Regardless of his goals.
I wouldn't say he is the 3rd best player in the World really, plenty of others that are better, but he is still a really good 'ability' player, but you can say that about a lot of players nowadays.

Who have man utd signed?

The fact that they are the Champions makes it a different situation, although I'm sure Moyes is ready for some reinforcements and they do seem likely to come on Deadline Day, Arsenal, well? I'm not sure on yet.

Lrf no offence. You're a really nice guy but sometimes you say a lot and you don't really make any sort of point

I thought Suarez had a release clause of £40m in his contract.
