The team is still gelling, poor performance but when you look how settled Arsenals teams was it was always going to be a very tough game, surprised Arsenal didn't attack more they could've tore us apart. As much as we've spent the majority of our starting XI wasn't here last season. 3 of them only came 2 days ago. Paulinho and Soldado about a month. This team needs time, and with Lamela and Eriksen in that team, we will get better. A reality check, Arsenal I believe had a stronger Starting XI today and 4th will be just as hard as ever. COYS.
Fixture came too quickly.

We always play high up the pitch. They'd still have beaten us had we played deeper, our midfield and attack was too disjointed.

Seriously though. The "you're a Chelsea fan" thing used as a reason to doubt anything is getting really old. When was the last time Liverpool played good football?

In the first half today? idiot.

If we always play high up the pitch and fail to press the ball, it's AVB who needs to sort his tactics out. Basic footballing rule.

And once we have Lamela, Eriksen and a properly settled team we can judge

Fact we conceded 1 and scored 0 shows the problem anyway

It's called tactics or if you like, a plan "b". Something sadly lacking in Arsenal's repertoire in the past
